Who We Are
Our Story
River Valley Church was planted in Walpole, NH, in 2023 with a desire to share the good news of Jesus Christ throughout the River Valley and beyond. Our prayer is to see more churches planted, reaching more people with the life-changing message of the gospel.
Our Mission
As a Christian church, our mission is simple: "Practicing the Way of Jesus Together." This means we are learning to follow Jesus in every area of our lives—being with Him, becoming like Him, and doing what He did.
Our Rhythms
As we follow Jesus together, we believe He shapes us over time through simple, consistent practices that root our lives in Him. Together, we seek to grow in Scripture, Prayer, Sabbath, Community, and Mission as we live out our faith in everyday life. Our Values
Our values shape how we live out our mission as a church. They guide our decisions, define our culture, and help us stay focused on what matters most.
Locality
We believe God has placed us here on purpose. We are committed to loving and serving the River Valley—its people, towns, and communities. We want to be a church that is known not just for what happens on Sundays, but for how we show up throughout the week as good neighbors who bring the hope of Jesus into everyday life.
Multiplication
We believe healthy things grow and multiply. Our desire is not just to gather people, but to make disciples who make disciples. This means investing in leaders, starting new groups, and planting new churches so that more people can experience the good news of Jesus.
Everybody Plays
We believe the Church is not a spectator event—everyone has a part to play. Every person is gifted by God and invited to participate in the life and mission of the church. Whether it’s serving on a team, leading a group, or caring for others, we want to help people discover their gifts and use them to build up the body of Christ.
