 Our goal in worship at River Valley Community Church is to provide
a comfortable atmosphere where people are free to express their
praise and adoration of God.
The Bible declares that the Lord
inhabits the praises of His people. As we walk in the Spirit
and grow in grace, we gain greater understanding of the richness
of personal and congregational worship.
During our times of "community" worship,
you are free to stand, clap, lift your hands, sing with joy,
or simply sit and meditate on the wonders of our Savior and the
grace He has bestowed on us. When we pour out our hearts to God
we discover that He is pouring His heart into ours in a special
way.
At River Valley Community Church we enjoy the diversity of upbeat
contemporary songs, powerful worship choruses, and time-honored
classic hymns. Yet we know it is not the style of music that
ushers us into the presence of God, but a spirit of humility
and a heart filled with gratitude that allows us to worship in
spirit and in truth.
